Pacific Hydraulic Success Story
The Ipswich facility had been using a Rexroth PV7 Variable Vane Pump as part of its manufacturing operation. The pump had stopped working and Bradken contacted Pacific Hydraulics to assess the pump and offered an appropriate solution.
A Pacific Hydraulics Service Technician attended the site and quickly determined that the pump was completely worn out and not serviceable. Pacific Hydraulics recommended that the unit be replaced with a Danfoss Series 45 L Frame 25cc Hydraulic Pump.
The Danfoss replacement unit was in stock and was quickly commissioned for the project requirements. However, a new shift was required to implement the new unit.
Fortunately, Pacific Hydraulics has significant stock holdings of spare parts and a suitable shaft was quickly picked from stock and shaft conversion was performed at our Authorised Danfoss Service Center located at Richlands.
The new Danfoss hydraulic pump, complete with new shaft was installed on site in the fastest possible time frame, getting the plant back up and running with minimal disruption.
